This Privacy Policy describes how Frontiq Roof Solutions Sdn. Bhd. (registration number 202401045821, referred to as "Frontiq", "we", "us" or "our") handles personal data collected through frontiq.pro and during the delivery of our roofing services. It is published under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia (PDPA).

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need in order to respond to your enquiry and carry out work you've engaged us for. That can include:

Identifying details (name, email, phone number) submitted via our contact form or shared during a phone call
The property address where work is to be carried out
The content of messages, quote requests and any photos you choose to send us
Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, gathered through cookies and server logs

2. How we use that information

To prepare quotations and schedule on-site visits
To carry out work you've contracted us for
To handle warranty queries within the 10-year workmanship cover period
To send service reminders relevant to your roof, where you've asked for them
To meet our tax, accounting and statutory record-keeping obligations

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for unrelated marketing or share it with advertising networks.

3. Lawful basis

We process personal data under one of the following lawful bases: the consent you provide when submitting a form, the necessity of carrying out a contract we have entered into with you, the compliance with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interest in running a roofing business safely and competently.

4. Sharing with third parties

The only parties with whom we share personal data are:

Subcontractors directly involved in your project (for example, scaffolders), under written confidentiality terms
Our accountants and statutory auditors, for the records they are required to keep

5. Retention

We retain quotation and project records for ten years to honour our workmanship warranty and meet statutory accounting requirements. Enquiries that don't result in a project are deleted after 12 months.

7. Security

Frontiq stores customer records on access-controlled systems, transmits form data over TLS, and trains staff annually on data handling. No system is perfect — but we treat your information the way we'd want our own treated.

8. Children

Our services are not directed at minors. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

9. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by the revised date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
